MultiNo®-M/S/M means grinding, classifying and mixing with only one system! Thanks to its very easy maintenance and cleaning, it is ideally suited for frequent and quick product changes. Its special strength is the processing of abrasive, high-purity and gluey products. The working principle of MultiNo®-M/S/M is based on the propulsion of particles by compressed air. Colliding at high speed, the particles are reduced in size. The benefits of “product-on-product grinding”: no product contamination by other materials, gentle processing and minimized wear-and-tear costs due to abrasion-free grinding. When used as a technical laboratory system – in testing and/or in the production of small quantities – optimum results and minimum product consumption are guaranteed.
WORKING PRINCIPLE MILLING
From the big bag station, the feed material enters the hopper of the gravimetrical dosing unit. Through a timing flap, it is continuously fed into the milling chamber, where it is fluidized by compressed air from the grinding nozzles facing each other. Colliding at high speed, the particles are reduced in size.
An upward current transports the milled product to the internal classifying unit where the specially designed NOLL classifying wheel separates the fine from the coarse particles. The desired powder fineness and precise top cut particle size are controlled by adjusting the wheel’s rotational speed.
The as yet unmilled material as well as the coarse particles returning from the classifier both flow back down into the fluidized product bed. The fine product – processed according to client specification – exits the machine through the tangential fines outlet to be packaged.

WORKING PRINCIPLE CLASSIFICATION – DEAGGLOMERATION
From the big bag station, the feed material enters the hopper of the gravimetrical dosing unit. Through a timing flap, it is continuously fed into the classifying chamber. An air current transports the material directly to the specially designed NOLL classifier wheel which separates the fine particles from the coarse.
The coarse particles now flow back down into the coarse material separation zone. Here, through the propulsion of compressed air, they are again intensely processed in order to further separate small dust particles and to eliminate agglomerates. The coarse material then exits the machine through the bottom timing flap outlet to be packaged.
Classifying with MultiNo® allows very steep particle size distributions and precise top cuts. The desired powder fineness is controlled by adjusting the classifier’s air volume and throughput as well as the wheel’s rotational speed. The fine product – processed according to client specification –
exits the machine through the tangential fines outlet to be packaged.
WORKING PRINCIPLE MIXING
From the big bag station, the feed material enters the hopper of the gravimetrical dosing unit. Through a timing flap, it is continuously fed into the mixing chamber where it is fluidized by compressed air from the three mixing nozzles. Colliding at high speed, the particles are reduced in size and intensely homogenized.
An upward air current then transports the mixed material directly to the specially designed NOLL classifier wheel which separates the fine particles from the coarse. Coarse particles and agglomerates flow back down from the classifier into the fluidized product bed.
Mixing with MultiNo®-M/S/M allows highly homogeneous blends. The desired top cut is precisely controlled by adjusting the classifiying wheel’s rotational speed; mixing intensity is determined by air throughput and air nozzle pressure. The homogenized product – processed according to client specification – exits the machine through the tangential fines outlet to be packaged.
