The coating of particles is a classic refinement method. It increases the powder’s inherent value as well as that of the manufactured end product. Depending on your challenge and desired fineness range, we realize coating processes either on our MultiNo® or our DemiNo® systems.
Using thermic processes, coarse particles are coated with finest powder.
Fluid materials are absorbed by the surface and diffuse into the particle. Example: silane.
In thermic processes, waxes or stearates (calcium or zinc stearates) are applied to the particle surface.
